Here is a little collage/retrospective on my triangles project with Randee Silv.

Generative Collages

Early in the morning on 2/7, I found myself a step closer to realizing a dream of mine– to allow people to use code to search for images based on search terms, and then to have them presented in an appealing format. I found a way to translate results from searches in my IAVA application into collages that reload every 5 seconds.

These collages show the things that people think of when they think of certain words– ie, we can compare and contrast examples of “recycle” images and “lunar orbit” images.
